Here are 4 ways that could help you feel less bloated
around your tummy area.
Staying hydrated can flush out excess sodium and reduce water retention (I know, sounds counter-productive doesn't it!). Aim for 6-8 glasses of water a day
Fizzy drinks release gas into your tummy - which leads to bloating. Swap them for herbal teas such as ginger, peppermint or lemon tea, or drinks which can soothe the digestive system.
Light exercise, such as walking, yoga/pilates or stretching, can help stimulate digestion and relieve trapped wind - reducing bloating
Foods like oats, leafy greens and berries can regulate digestion and prevent constipation which is a common cause of bloating.
